Description of materials use and maintenance

Melamine A melamine panel is made from a melamine resin sheet bonded to a compressed wood core, such as chipboard.
This material has a smooth, durable surface available in a wide range of colors and finishes that mimic wood
or other materials. It is particularly valued for its durability, impact resistance, stain resistance, and ease of
maintenance. For cleaning, it is recommended to use a soft, damp cloth. For more stubborn stains, non-abrasive
detergents diluted in water can be used. It is important to avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals such
as bleach or ammonia, which can damage the surface finish. Always dry the surface after cleaning to prevent
                           streaks or limescale residues.
Lacquered Lacquered furniture, both glossy and matte, is available in 36 different colors or in RAL finish upon request.
Maintenance of lacquered surfaces requires care, avoiding abrasive products such as powders, ammonia, and
acetone. Cleaning can be performed with neutral or glass cleaners, making sure to immediately dry with a soft
                           cloth.
Veneered Wood Veneered wood is a composite material consisting of a woody fiber base onto which a thin layer of fine wood, called
veneer, is glued. Since the surface is made of real wood, it retains the natural appearance and texture, including
the unique patterns formed by the grain and knots of the wood, which—unlike synthetic materials—are changeable
and original. A matte varnish is applied to veneered wood to give the material greater resistance to moisture and
abrasion from daily use. Clean wood surfaces with a damp cloth and neutral soap, drying off the water immediately
                           to prevent damage.
Glass Extra-clear glass, both glossy and frosted, is available for fronts and tops. They feature a flat polished edge finish
and are available in 36 colors. They are treated with a water-based color and a polyurethane protection. The paint is
tintable, non-yellowing, and specific for glass. During the installation of the tops, use the provided neutral silicone,
avoiding overtightening mixers and traps. Do not expose the glass to impacts, heavy object falls, or contact with hot
bodies over 35-40°C. For maintenance, clean with water and neutral detergents, avoiding solvents and abrasives.
Dry after use to avoid limescale deposits.
HPL Laminate High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is made by layering melamine laminate impregnated with phenolic resins and com-
pressed at high pressure and temperature. It is both easy to work with and extremely robust, resistant to scratches,
impacts, abrasions, chemicals, and heat. Clean with a damp cloth and neutral detergent. Dry HPL sinks after use to
                           prevent limescale deposits.
Porcelain Stoneware Porcelain stoneware is a hard, compact ceramic made from clays, sands, and feldspars pressed and fired at
(Gres) 1200-1400°C. Almost non-porous, it is resistant to abrasions, stains, frost, and heat. Available in various finishes,
both glossy and matte, it mimics materials like marbles, granites, and various types of stone, adapting to different
design styles. It resists organic and inorganic solvents, disinfectants, and detergents. It cleans with extreme
ease, maintaining the surface characteristics unaltered. It offers good resistance to scratches and abrasion; its
properties thus remain unchanged even after intense use and frequent cleaning. For cleaning, just a damp cloth
with water and non-abrasive neutral detergent is sufficient.
Quartz Composite Quartz composite countertops are created by combining quartz and polyester resins. This composition gives the
countertops uniformity, density, and considerable impact resistance. These countertops are highly durable, resistant
to scratches, chemical attacks, and temperature variations. The mentioned features make these artifacts easy to
maintain: just a damp cloth and neutral detergent are needed for proper cleaning.
Fenix® FENIX® is made using nanotechnology and features a surface treated with acrylic resins hardened through Electron
Beam Curing. The finish is notably matte, anti-fingerprint, and velvety. This material stands out for the repairability of
micro-scratches and properties such as ease of cleaning, antibacterial resistance, anti-mold, and resistance against
abrasions, scratches, acidic solvents, and household reagents. Do not use abrasives, rough sponges, or highly
acidic or alkaline substances that can damage or stain the surface. For cleaning, just a damp cloth with hot water
                           or common detergents is sufficient.
Ceramic A ceramic sink is manufactured through the firing of clay at high temperatures, making it hard and resistant. The
vitrified surface of the sink also protects against stains and scratches. For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth or
sponge with hot water and neutral soap. Avoid using abrasive sponges and harsh chemicals such as bleach or
ammonia, which can damage the surface finish. For more stubborn stains, baking soda or diluted vinegar can be
employed, rinsing well after application. Dry the sink after each use to prevent limescale deposits.
Mineralguss Mineralguss is a composite material made from natural mineral charges and resins. This coating combines
excellent resistance features with good surface restorability. For light scratch restoration, use the restoration
kit provided by Inda (only for Tiziano Giotto models and Mineralguss freestanding sinks). Do not expose to
temperatures above 55°C. For more thorough cleaning, use only soft cloths and non-abrasive neutral detergents.
Do not use pads with metal wires, cloths with synthetic fibers, abrasive sponges, and liquid detergents containing
acids and other solvents as they may damage the surface.
Solid Surface Solid Surface is a material made from a high percentage of natural mineral charges and a small part of high-purity
polyesters and acrylics; it is an inert, hypoallergenic, and non-toxic material, 100% recyclable, fire-resistant (class
1), with excellent UV resistance, compact and non-porous, hygienic, resistant, and pleasant to the touch due to its
velvety finish similar to natural stone. It is restorable and can be returned to its original appearance with simple
detergent and an abrasive sponge, even removing cigarette burns.
